README.txt

The COAX_OVER_GROUND_FASTHENRY test case consists of a coaxial cable placed very close to a
lossy (or, in one case, PEC) ground plane. Three models are present:

ZT_FD_COAX_OVER_GROUND_PLANE_FASTHENRY: Solution with proximity effect using FastHenry in external domain

ZT_FD_COAX_OVER_GROUND_PLANE_LAPLACE: original SACAMOS solution with lossy ground plane

ZT_FD_COAX_OVER_PEC_GROUND_PLANE_LAPLACE: original SACAMOS solution with PEC ground plane

The cable bundle models may be copied to the directory SPICE_COAX_GP_TRANSIENT_TEST using the command

copy_spice_subcircuit

The SPICE_COAX_GP_TRANSIENT_TEST directory contains the ngspice circit files to run the a.c. and
transient test cases in the report.

The a.c. simulation in run using the three different SACAMOS Spice cable bundle models using

run_ac_process

and the transient simulations with

run_teans_process
